The guys from Gizmodo just got a tip from a Microsoft insider that the Zune HD will be launching on September 8 (mark your calendars) and will be coming in 16GB and 32GB.

So far, no pricing has been announced but with Microsoft acknowledging that the Zune HD will have NVIDIA’s Tegra chip, i’m forseeing the price to be at least $300. We’ll see. Stay tuned for more updates.

Update: Rumors are circulating that an Insider, working at Microsoft, gave some info that the Zune HD 16GB version is likely to go between $248 and $280. The Insider also said that Microsoft might release a 64 GB version later in the year. The way the 16GB is priced (if it’s true), then the 32GB version is likely to cost between $299 & $350.

Nothing’s concrete yet, but the way things are, it seems logical. Stay tuned.
