R.I.P. Bill Mays: Loud Personality But Great Guy (Updated)

In a week that’s seen the loss of Ed McMahon, Farah Fawchett, and the great King of Pop, Michael Jackson, people may or may not acknowledge that today we lost the king of commercials/infomercials.  Billy Mays was found dead in his home this Sunday. There was no suspicion of foul play and many think this could have been natural causes.

Hate him or love him, you can’t say didn’t know. Whether he was screaming/projecting when advertising products like OxiClean or my personal favorite, ESPN 360, you couldn’t help but notice this guy.

Billy even had a show on the Discovery Channel called Pitchmen.

Just recently, he appeared on the Conan O’Brian show. I never thought he would go so soon.

R.I.P my bearded friend. Hope you’re in a better place.

Update: Preliminary autopsy report shows Bill Mays died from Heart Disease, not bump to the head.
