Pink Is The New Black: Microsoft Working On A Microsoft-Branded Phone

Are you in or not Microsoft? Make up your mind. If you’re a gadget head, you’re probably heard about Micrsoft’s “Pink” project. If not, let me fill you in. Microsoft made some headlines when it was discovered that they were working on a smartphone project and they codenamed it Pink. Nobody really knows what this means. People have said that it was all about the new Windows 7 Mobile software. Others say that it had something to do with Microsoft’s acquisition of popular T-mobile sidekick maker, Danger.

New news is coming that the Microsoft IS coming out with a Microsoft branded cell phone. They are already working with an ad agency to promote the product. Word is that they might be tapping Sharp or Motorola (say what?) to help with the phone.

Hopefully, Microsoft can throw so light on this subject later. Who knows, we might be seeing a powered up Sidekick with a cool new UI with a Zune-type interface, Zune music and stuff like that. We’ll see.
