Can’t Live Without Internet: Finland Makes Broadband Access A Legal Right

I want to be a Finnish Citizen!!

The Finland Government is putting a policy in place whereby every citizen will have a legal right to broadband access. That’s right, a legal right!

The Fins already have universal healthcare and now are adding universal internet access to that list. Every citizen will be entitled to 1 MB of access but the goal is to have 100 Mbps. Making this a legal right means that it would be a crime to deny access to any citizen.

If this is socialism, I want in.
