Nexus One: The Real Deal

Today was the day Google decided to unveil their superphone, the Nexus One. The phone has been all over the internet and Google has decided to officially bring it out.

Everybody pretty much knew that the Nexus One was coming out to T-Mobile but Google pulled a late surprise and stated that the Nexus was coming to both Verizon and Vodafone in Spring 2010.

If you don’t already know, here’s the full details about the phone:

  • The Phone is shipping today for T-Mobile for $180 with a 2 year contract and $580 unlocked for GSM Phones
  • Even though it’s GSM, it will not work on 3G for AT&T, only EDGE
  • It runs Android 2.1
  • It has a AMOLED screen
  • It’s slightly thinner than an iPhone
  • It has a 5MP camera
  • It has a snapdragon processor (it’s really fast!)
