Netflix Considering Offline Viewing For Developing Countries

Have you signed up for a Netflix account in Ghana?

You’ve probably not signed up and for good reason. One of the best ways to experience Netflix is have a good and reliable internet connection. Nobody wants to stream their favorite shows and have buffering all over the place. But in developing countries like Ghana, we’re dealing with inconsistent performance and high cost from internet service providers.

Netflix is aware of this problem and have been considering offering an “Offline” option for it’s viewers.

There are lots of people I know who like to download than stream their content. They find it better than streaming which can take up more data especially when viewing in higher quality formats like 1080p and 4K.

With an Offline options, viewers will probably get the option to store a downloaded episode on their account for offline viewing.

Nothing is concrete yet but rumors have it that Netflix might launch that option before the end of 2016.

Will you sign up if you got the option for offline viewing of Netflix?
