Happy 10th Anniversary To The iPhone

Today is the 10th Anniversary of the iPhone. On  January 9th, 2007, Steve Jobs got on stage at an Apple Macworld event, and introduced the device which made Apple the juggernaut it is today. Steve Jobs introduced the revolutionary iPhone.

It’s crazy when you look at the iPhone then and look at the state of smartphones in 2017. The highest memory space for the iPhone was 16GB, had a 3.5 inch screen, 128MB of RAM, a 2.0 MP camera, no 3G and no App store.

It’s crazy to think far we’ve come in terms of smartphone technology. I remember live streaming the Apple event as Steve Jobs introduced the phone on stage. I was just geeking out the whole time. It was the best thing I had ever seen. A phone with a touchscreen that could play music, watch videos and make phone calls. Amazing!

So here’s the video of Steve Jobs announcing the first ever iPhone. I was lucky enough to purchase the iPhone 3G. So thanks Steve Jobs for changing the smartphone market
